Hi Friend,
We stayed up and woke early to be sure we weren’t dreaming. Hard work pays off! Celebrate the election results with us. You worked hard, wrote until your hand cramped, made calls, donated money; take an evening to celebrate and make new friends. Regardless of what happens between Election Day and November 17 (and much will), we still can and must savor our triumphs. Let;s raise a toast (with sparkling cider) to each other for what we collectively achieved on November 4. Click here to let us know you will join us so we have enough bubbly for everyone!

While there is along list of businesses we wish we could impact – Amazon we see you.- strategic and impactful boycotts are targeted and winnable. Paramount reversed the decision to cancel Jimmy Kimmel because over a million people cancelled Disney and Hulu.
Avelo Airlines is an example of a targeted boycott. They have a contract to operate deportation flights, aiding in the illegal removal of individuals without their right to a fair hearing or due process. Besides not flying in seats recently occupied by these people, you can join us the Sunday before Thanksgiving to inform travelers about the airline.
Don’t stream facism. cancel Spotify. They are airing ICE recruitment ads. There are other streaming services that are not profiting from the war on immigrants.

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits will not reach the families that rely on them starting on Saturday thanks to the GOP government shutdown. Food pantries are scrambling to try to meet our communities needs. La Collaborativa distributes food in Chelsea and the Brookline Food Pantry serves over 600 families right in our neighborhood.

- “Americans voted for democracy, decency, the rule of law, and people before party and profits. They voted against Kings, creeping authoritarianism, corruption, and deceit.” Read more from Robert Hubbell
- “The GOP mounted an unusual push to oust three supreme court justices and erase Democrats’ majority on the court. All three prevailed easily in Tuesday’s retention elections.” Read about it here.

- Mamdani’s victory speech is worth 23 minutes of your life.
- What’s the Plan. Every Thursday the founders of Indivisible answer questions from thousands of people. The conversation is then posted on YouTube and always helps us understand the strategy of resistance, which then gives us hope.
