Hi Friend,
Protests matter. Demonstrating courage publicly and literally standing up for what’s right is a key tactic in defeating would be authoritarians. They want us to stay home and cower, to believe we are alone and powerless. But we there are millions of us, showing up thousands of times all over the country since Trump’s inauguration. We are proof that we are undefeated, we are inspiring others to join us and we are telling the world that we are better than the administration.
Think globally, act locally. We are bringing state legislators to you on Monday, June 9th at the Brookline Town Hall. Have your voice heard with a group of like minded people and ask why the Massachusetts State legislature is notoriously unproductive and what our representatives will do differently to stand up to protect the Commonwealth from the authoritarian steam roller that is coming from DC. More information here.
