Hi Friend,
No Kings 2 is behind us but we are still filled with joy, energy and determination. Let’s use it to fuel our responsibility to help each other. It is our responsibility to fight. It is our responsibility to win. We cannot let No Kings Day be a flash in the pan. It is up to each and every one of us to commit to our next actions — to stand up for what’s right today, tomorrow, and every day until our American dream becomes a reality. Read more for things you can do this week.

- Movement Voter Project takes a long view, funding grassroots groups that are there long before and after elections. They also enable donors to target projects, like growing progressive media, states or issues.
- Sister District learned from the GOP that supporting state legislative candidates pays off. Small investments yield huge returns In 2025, they are focusing on Virginia where a solid Democratic win will energize the country.
- Run for Something is smoothing the way for young progressives outside traditional power structures to run and win elections. From school boards to congress, they have an impressive track record supporting tens of thousands of potential candidates and notching up wins across the country in red, purple and blue districts.

Politicians have a secret math they don’t want you to know. Something that is an open secret in politics was shared with the public by former congressional staffers who wrote the Indivisible Guide, here’s how they actually count your complaints:
One phone call = 100-1,000 angry voters
One personal email = 10-50 voters
One form letter = maybe 1 voter, if they even count it ….
State officials like the State Auditor receive almost no calls.

Deborah Goldberg is the Massachusetts Treasurer: Call her at (617) 367-6900 Say this: “I’m [name] from [zip code]. Trump is using our tax dollars to fund mass kidnapping operations, private militias rounding up families, and his personal Gestapo. He’s already started raiding Social Security to pay for concentration camps. You control billions in our state pension funds that are currently in federal bonds. You’re literally funding fascism. Every day you don’t pull that money out, you’re financing raids on churches, hospitals, and schools. You’re paying for the vans that disappear people. You’re funding his brownshirts. Pull every penny out now or explain to retirees why you used their retirement savings to build America’s concentration camps. Move our money today or admit you’re being complicit in America’s destruction.”

During No Kings, we had a table on Boston Common and invited people to write why they resist and add their fish to the numbers that will be more powerful than the scary orange fish w/yellow hair. (can you find it about to be swamped).
We are the powerful together.
