Hi Friend,
Sometimes a loss is a victory. Aftyn Behn had the GOP running scared and even if she didn’t flip the district Trump won only a year ago by 22 points, this time a MAGA Republican closely tied to him won by only 9. The numbers of retiring GOP elected officials are another indicator that the midterms will be another referendum on a unpopular president.
We’ve already started postcarding to register voters. Please note that we are not meeting at the church this Monday as we are co-sponsors of a program on the Corporate Fair Share legislation.
Thank you, and as always, read on for more things you can do…

- The midterms are coming and candidates need money. Delete the incessant requests for money and give strategically. Oath, like our friends Force Multiplier, crunches numbers and analyzes where your $ will have the greatest impact. They have identified 6 congressional candidates in flippable districts in swing states who are heavily favored to win their primaries so the early money that goes to them will be critical when they go on to the general election against an incumbent GOP. They go further in that your donations do not land you on multiple mailing lists AND that peace of mind makes it easier for us to donate.
- Movement Voter Project is another way to get early money into winning the midterms. Their proven strategy of investing in grassroots groups paid off this November. They host regular events with guests like Robert Hubbell. Check out the schedule here.
