You are awesome activists!  There is so much to do and everyone is doing their part.  Two days ago we asked if you could help us finish the VA postcards. Over 20 of you responded immediately and they have been distributed and will be sent to infrequent women voters in Virginia where there is are crucial Governor and state legislature races this year.   Yay you!  Yay us!

Thank you for being part of this community.  You can become a megaphone for defending democracy without social media.  Wear pins, hats and t-shirts that prompt conversations and encourage people to join you!  We have to be unstoppable because the stakes are high.

This week, let’s insist Democratic Attorney Generals to fight against ICE overreach.  As one sign at the May Day rally on Boston Common read, “Solidarity Now or El Salvador Soon.”

Activist Evenings has events coming up (see below) and if you are in Brookline, remember to vote on May 6.  Local elections are often decided by very few votes.  Make your voice heard.

• Every Saturday:  Let’s keep driving Musk’s company into a ditch!  11-1 at the Prudential Center in Boston.  Check Tesla Takedowns for a location near you! 
  
• Save the Date:  No Kings Day!  June 14. A broad coalition is planning nationwide demonstrations outside of DC on Trump’s birthday.  Specifics will follow.

• Sunday, May 4, Indivisible Mass Coalition, is hosting its yearly gathering of Indivisibles. Worcester 11-5  All are invited!  This is a great event whether you are new to the movement, or have part of the resistance for years. Develop the skills that are essential in building a resilient community & movement required to fight fascist dictators and survive as a democracy.  RSVP ASAP.

• Indivisible’s weekly “what’s the plan” brings together thousands of people every Thursday at 3.  We leave energized and hopeful everytime.  Here’s yesterday’s meeting.
